Description
ADAPT STYLE

A six plait horse whip from Inner Mongolia, hand braided by a Mongolian craftsman from his village. Raw untreated cow leather and ebony wood. For the Mongolian people, the tashuur is not for striking. It is a guide for their horse partners, carrying destiny, luck, and fortune.

Integrating our Graedance language into a portable form, 01 Mabian extends the same meaning through its creation. A charm for serendipity, prosperity, and fortuity. Each key charm is hand assembled in our Melbourne studio, the polished orbs forming a pattern that references the ancient Greek tradition of horse hair plaiting. A western ornamental language paired with an eastern one.

Each whip retains the patina and oil from the craftsman's hands. No two feel or appear the same.

Care:

  • The leather will darken and soften with handling. The braiding may shift and loosen over time. Both are natural to the material and the way it was made.
  • Each piece carries the patina and oil from the craftsman's hands and will continue to change with yours.
  • Avoid prolonged contact with water, direct heat, perfume, or harsh chemicals.
  • Store in a cool, dry place when not in use.

Sterling Silver

Most of our pieces are made from recycled 925 sterling silver, chosen for its balance of strength, purity, and soft white luster.

We do not use anti-tarnish coatings or chemical treatments, honoring the natural life of the metal. Over time, your silver will develop a gentle patina — a surface character that reflects your individual wear and becomes part of the piece’s story.

A simple polish will restore its shine whenever you wish, but many of our wearers embrace this natural evolution.

Our gemstone pieces celebrate the beauty of nature’s singular creations.

No two stones are ever exactly alike - their subtle differences in color, clarity, and formation make each piece one-of-a-kind.

We work with trusted sourcing partners and inspect each stone by hand before it is set to ensure quality and durability.

Because of their natural origin, slight variations from product images may occur, these nuances are part of what makes your piece uniquely yours.
Warranty & Repairs

We offer a 12-month repair warranty on all Graedance pieces, covering manufacturing faults under normal wear.
