Returns Policy

We believe you'll love your new Graedance piece, but just in case, we offer a 14-day return window — meaning you have 14 days from the day you receive your order to request a return. Returns requested after this window are at the discretion of our customer service team.

Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

  • In the same condition you received it
  • Unworn and unused, with tags attached
  • In its original packaging
  • Free from any signs of damage, tarnish, or wear

How to Start a Return

You can start a return by logging into your account with your email or phone number. Once in, select your order and the items you'd like to return to submit a request.

If you checked out as a guest or have any questions, email us at team@graedance.com and we'll guide you through it.

Return Shipping

Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. We're not able to take responsibility for parcels lost in return transit, so we recommend using a tracked or courier service.

Refunds

Once we've received and inspected your return, we'll let you know whether your refund has been approved. If approved, you'll be refunded to your original payment method within 3–5 business days. Please allow additional time for your bank or card provider to process the refund on their end.

What's refunded:

  • The product price you paid

What's not refunded:

  • Original shipping costs (including where shipping was offered as a free promotional benefit on your order - the actual cost incurred by Graedance will be deducted from your refund)
  • Import duties and taxes (see below)

A Note on Duties & Taxes

For orders shipped to the United States: Graedance pays the import duties and taxes on your behalf at the time of shipping so your order arrives without surprise charges at the door. These duties are paid directly to U.S. Customs and are non-refundable by Graedance in the event of a return.

For orders shipped to all other international destinations: Any duties or taxes paid by you at the time of delivery are paid directly to your country's customs authority - not to Graedance - and cannot be refunded by us.

In either case, you may be eligible to file a duty drawback claim with your local customs authority for returned goods. We're happy to provide your commercial invoice and shipping documentation to support this.

Exchanges

The fastest way to get what you want is to start a return on your original item and place a new order for the replacement piece.

Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives faulty, damaged in transit, or different from what you ordered, we'll make it right. Email us at team@graedance.com within 14 days of delivery with your order number and photos, and we'll cover return shipping and provide a full refund or replacement.

Non-Returnable Items

For health and hygiene reasons, earrings cannot be returned for change of mind.

We're also unable to accept returns on:

  • Custom or engraved orders
  • Gift cards
  • Items purchased as part of a final sale or special promotion

Damaged or Tarnished Products

We cannot accept returns on products showing signs of damage or tarnish from wear. Please follow the care instructions included with your order and on our FAQs to keep your pieces in their best condition.

That said, jewellery can often be rejuvenated. If something has happened to your piece, email us at team@graedance.com and we'll do our best to assist you with reversing any damage from wear or accidents.

A Note on Plated Jewellery

Our plated pieces feature a layer of precious metal over a base metal. This layer can wear over time with constant skin contact, especially for those with higher skin acidity or who perspire heavily. Exposure to air, water, perfumes, lotions, and other toiletries can also accelerate tarnish. We recommend removing your plated pieces before exercise, swimming, or showering to extend their life.
