Graedance x Chinatown Country Club — Year of the Snake Collection

Chinatown Country Club is a Sydney-based independent fashion concept that blends the exclusivity of the country club with the open-door energy of Chinatown. It's a space built on Asian heritage and Western upbringing — curating emerging labels, fostering community, and making fashion feel less gated and more lived-in.

The Collaboration

The Graedance x Chinatown Country Club capsule draws on the idea of ritual combat — two entwined snakes representing balance, unity, and the tension between generations. The serpent motif bridges Eastern and Western mythology, tying the Lunar Year of the Snake to Ophiuchus, the often-overlooked thirteenth zodiac.

The collection is personal. Designed in homage to Graedance founder Rong Chen's mother — a Snake year bearer — each piece carries that weight quietly. Crafted in 18k gold vermeil and mixed metals, the jewelry is accented with peridot and rubies, nodding to Chinatown Country Club's signature palette.
