An Interlude sits between our collections. Each one takes a shape jewellery has always worn and remakes it in our language. Zodiac took the signs. Slither took the serpent. Cosmos takes the sky itself: the sun, the moon and the stars. The beginning of it all. Told in four chapters, two here now, two still in the forge.

The small Lunae sits below the large for a halo of proportion, one arc echoing the other. The cuff stacks against Solis, and the moon comes to rest beside the sun. Nothing here is finished on its own. That is the point.

Cosmos lives there: in the in-between, between dusk and dawn. Two years in the notebook before the shape of it arrived on a walk home in late winter, when the sky was holding a colour Melbourne doesn't really name.
Astra is the first of four drops. Recycled sterling silver, handcrafted, set with naturally cut amethyst and citrine, dusk in one stone, dawn in the other.
